DOORassebles a multidisciplinary group of experts - engineers, environmentalists,economists, sociologists and others – all dedicated to sustainable development.DOOR has two lines of activities – on the Internet and in the local community. On the Internet, DOOR has established the Croatian energy portal calledMojaEnergija (MyEnergy) with a goal to educate Croatian general public aboutenergy and environment issues and to empower it for participation in energyrelated decisions.
DOOR participates in the UNDP/GEF project entitled „Climate Change EnablingActivity“, coordinated by Croatian Ministry of environmental protection, physicalplanning and construction. The project's goal is creation of enablingenvironment for implementation of projects that contribute to greenhouse gasesemission reduction.
DOOR's task is to form a web site dedicated to climatechange.In local communities, DOOR has started a series of public lectures andworkshops aiming to increase public knowledge and acceptance of solarthermal applications. The first lecture has been held in Istria, as a part of the DOOR's project called „Sun in Istria“.
